World of forests
.
Forest is a huge world, without forest life on Earth would die or become extremely poor. As M.Prishvin would say - forest is a pantry of the sun, it is home to an array of wildlife. The forest stores water and gradually releases it to springs, streams and rivers. Forests provide food for birds, insects, animals and humans. And forests just give joy to all.
Listen to a cuckoo, a nightingale song somewhere near a stream, a woodpecker knocking on a tree - these are the voices of the forest. Remember the summer smell of flowers, pine needles, mushrooms and berries - these are all forest. Remember the green smoke of the first spring leaves, red and gold colours of autumn - these are all forest. The world of forest attracts us in any season with its beauty, secrets and mysteries, it gives health to all living things.
For the humans forests have always been the greatest riches. The house, the fence around it, the furniture under the roof, numerous products made of wood have been present in human life throughout the history since the caveman times. You can’t name all those innumerable riches forests give to us. Russians used to say: “Forest has greater wealth than the Tsar does”. And this is wealth that is renewable by nature. One just need to know forest well, take good care of it and always remember: where the forest disappears wastelands or deserts expand.
Knowing the forest make a person spiritually enriched. Caring and protecting this blessed source of life is a responsibility of people on earth.
